Luke 21:17-19 And everyone will hate you because you are mine and are called by my name. But not a hair of your head will perish! For if you stand firm, you will win your souls. (TLB)
Jesus forewarned that in the impending persecutions, his followers would be betrayed by their own kin and acquaintances. Christians throughout history have had to confront this unpleasant possibility. However, it is comforting to know that even in the midst of feeling utterly forsaken, the Holy Spirit will remain by our side. He will provide solace, safeguard us, and endow us with the necessary words. This assurance can instil within us the fortitude and optimism to remain steadfast in our devotion to Christ, regardless of the severity of the circumstances.
When we feel like we are at our lowest point, it can be easy to lose faith and give up. But with the Holy Spirit by our side, we can find the strength to persevere. We can trust that He will guide us through the darkness and lead us towards the light. And with His help, we can emerge from our struggles stronger and more resilient than ever before. We must have faith that He will provide us with the courage and wisdom to overcome any obstacle that comes our way. By relying on His guidance, we can find peace and hope in the midst of our struggles. Let us trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform our lives and lead us towards a brighter future.
Prayer: Father, protect me from any harm and evil agenda of the enemy in Jesus’ name. Amen
